  • This is what is called fear: It's building up a wall in front of our eyes.

So it's been... ahh, almost a year since I last updated.
Much has changed but I'm obviously too lazy to write everything that has happened in that time span.
I just had a random urge to reconnect to Xanga, and so I have.

Oh, I have a job now! At the Great Canadian Dollar Store. I really like working there, which is awesome. I work today from 12-5.

School started again. I missed it. I have:
    - Chemistry
    - Math
    - Career Futures
    - Biology
Decent schedule, I must say. Although I only have one friend on my lunch, hahaha.

aaaaaaaand it's raining. I love it.

    Random blabble over.

"We're dancing like we've never danced before."

Has anyone heard of the band 'Freezepop'? One of their songs (Less Talk More Rokk) is on Guitar Hero 2, and that's what started with my liking of them. They're so synthpop - quite the cute band.

In my writing class we write a journal entry every Wednesday. I have a little on-going story that I'm working on about an assassin named Kumiko. There are only a few entries about her, but I decided to post the latest one that I wrote. The topic was "Boredom is the root of all evil", and I decided that I could tie it into my story. Enjoy~

A violent jab in the stomach was the last thing Ayumi felt before her entire body went numb. Malicious green eyes were the last thing she saw before her eyes clouded over. An innocent voice whispering "Have fun in hell..." was the last thing she heard before her ears plugged. With a final shudder Ayumi fell to the ground, dead to the world. Ah, but to make sense of this, we should start at the very beginning...

    Two Hours Earlier

"Yuki!" whined Kumiko, sticking her bottom lip out as she whined. It took all of Yuki’s power not to give in completely to the big, watery green eyes and the pouting lips. Kumiko was just too innocent for her own good.

"Kumiko, I told you, I’m not going anywhere tonight," stated Yuki, casting a worrying glance back at the computer screen. Now that they knew who they were up against, their lives have changed forever. Kumiko got over her crying spell (which only last ten minutes) and was now proclaiming to the heavens that she was bored out of her mind. "Does she really think that the ceiling cares that she is bored?" thought Yuki, grinning at the childish antics of her best friend. After Kumiko finished her little rant about boredom she brought up the idea of going out tonight. Yuki instantly declined, saying that she was busy working and didn’t want to leave with work left to be done. Knowing Kumiko, she knew that her idea of ‘fun’ was drastically different from a normal person’s idea. It could be anything, from killing a random girl who picks on her or stalking people on the street. The stalking was much easier to handle, with there not having to be a mess in the end and whatnot.

"Fine then! I’ll go out by myself! If I don’t come back expect the worst!" yelled Kumiko, jumping through the doorway dramatically. Yuki chuckled, glad that Kumiko was handling the new information about Satoshi quite well.

    Downtown

The street lights twinkled as Kumiko picked a ‘victim’ to stalk for the night. No new missions were assigned from her job lately, meaning that she had free time to spare. Free time equals boredom to Kumiko, and boredom leads to mischievous events. She has a system worked out - when she is bored, Kumiko goes downtown to have some fun. She entered a building where a dance was being held, hoping to destroy the boredom that was plaguing her.

Kumiko peered around, enjoying the beats to the music and swaying her head. It was then that she saw Ayumi, a girl who picked on Kumiko during their school years because she was different (although everyone knew it was because Ayumi was jealous of Kumiko). Ayumi took one glance at Kumiko and stopped in her tracks, glaring her down for all she was worth. Unlike when she was a child, Kumiko gave her a sassy smile and walked out of the dance. Just like she planned, Ayumi followed.

Now, something that everyone should understand. Kumiko believed in karma - what goes around comes around. She knew that she would get her revenge on Ayumi someday. And today, well... today was Ayumi’s unlucky day.

As soon as the cool air reached Ayumi she was kicked in the stomach and sent flying into a dumpster. Kumiko dragged her to a dark alley beside the building, intent on giving some serious damage. She took out a small knife (her favourite weapon for these types of things) and gave multiple stabs to the girl who made her life a living hell.

Kumiko stood up, proud of her work. In her eyes, Ayumi had it coming. She tortured Kumiko for so long through school that she thought she would never get over it. With a smirk to the fresh corpse Kumiko walked out of the alley and into the dance, intent on dancing the night away.

Some would say that she is the root of all evil, but really... it all starts with boredom.

It's not the best work that I've ever written, but I quite like the way it turned out.

I'm getting so excited for christmas! I really hope that my mom can find Guitar Hero 3 for the Wii. The workers at Wal-Mart have no idea when it is coming in, which doesn't help. At Wal-Mart, 100 Guitar Hero 3's were shipped in, but they were all for the PS2. They aren't even selling. IDEA! How about they get some for the Wii, seeing as that is what everyone wants? ... oh well. I will get it someday.

  • "Will you always see the truth when it stares you in the face?"

    HAPPY BELATED HALLOWEEN EVERYBODY =)

I never got a chance to write it yesterday becaues once I got home from school I was busy getting ready. I may be 16, but that did not stop me from Trick-or-Treating. I shall continue for a few more years, too. It's just so much fun!

I feel like writing some stories and such... a new project, perhaps? And maybe I could post things on here? Who knows... other than me, haha.

Bye for now. I'm going to bed   x.x

  • "But the question is, do you dare me?"

Yes, I am totally keeping up with the updating!

So, life has been good lately.
Tomorrow is the last day of school this week, so I'm excited about that.
Thursday I'm going to buy a Halloween costume and I get to eat at Wendy's =)
Seriously, I love eating at Wendy's.
    It makes me so happy!
    AND NACHOS ON FRIDAY!
    I LOVE NACHOS!

Yes, that was completely random and such.
But I'm in a random mood.
And now I'm off to play some video games and listen to music.
Speaking of music, I found my "Chronicles of Life and Death" CD by Good Charlotte yesterday.
I got it for Christmas a few years back. I haven't listened to it in a while...
    I LOVE IT!
I have The World Is Black stuck in my head [is that the name of the song? oh well]
    It's pretty wicked!
